Tornado Siren Testing Scheduled - Expect Sirens to Sound.

Tornado Siren Testing is scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. weather permitting.

Disconnect Sump Pumps & Down spouts

Pursuant to Section 710.130: No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any stormwater, surface water, ground water, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, including interior and exterior foundation drains.

Storm Shelters Available:

Storm Shelters:  Per City's Emergency Management as of 4-8-2015 storm shelters available when sirens are sounded are at the following locations:

1. 1st Southern Baptist Church - northwest and south entrances.

2. Basement doors at Court House

3. Regular doors at jail parking garage.

Water bills are due upon receipt or before the 15th of each month to avoid a penalty.



Shut off is on the 20th of each month with a $75 reconnect fee.


Electronic access to the City Code is offered to the public as a convenience, but does not necessarily include the most recent changes and amendments.

2021 City Dog Tags Available December 1.

OWNERS OF DOGS WITHOUT PROPER TAGS RESIDING IN THE CITY LIMITS OF STOCKTON WILL BE FINED.  THE STOCKTON DOG SHELTER WILL NO LONGER RELEASE DOGS WITHOUT PROOF OF PROPER TAGS.   Dog tags are available for $8.00 through January 31, 2021.  Tags purchased after January 31, 2021 will be $10.00.  Fees collected for tags are for the maintenance of the City Dog Shelter.  Owner must provide proof of rabies vaccination in order to purchase tag.  City Hall 1424 South St., Stockton, Missouri 417-276-5210
