Reminder: YARD WASTE IS NOT ALLOWED IN TRASH CONTAINERS
This is a friendly reminder yard waste is not allowed in the Republic Services' trash containers. Please contact the City of Stockton to schedule an appointment on Monday's after 1:15 pm to dispose of your yard waste at the City yard waste dump. Otherwise, simply obtain a free burn permit from the City of Stockton and burn your yard waste at home when weather permits (i.e. do not burn on dry windy days!). HELP WANTED: FULL TIME MAINTENANCE
The City of Stockton is currently taking applications for a full-time maintenance position. Applications are available at City Hall located at the 1424 South St. through the drive-thru window. City Hall hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2021 Election Candidacy Filing Begins 12-15-20
Candidacy Filing Begins December 15 at 8:00 a.m. for anyone interested in running for a City office in the 2021 Municipal election. Seats available for candidacy are one Northward and one Southward alderman. To file as an alderman you must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, a U.S. citizen, a registered voter and a City resident for one year prior to the time of filing. Also Missouri law provides, no candidate shall be in arrears of any municipal taxes or fees or have been convicted or pled guilty to a felony or misdemeanor under federal laws. The filing deadline for the 2021 Municipal election is January 19, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. For more information contact City Hall at 417-276-5210 and ask for Vanessa.
