NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
A Public Hearing will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at City Hall, located at 1424 South Street, Stockton, Missouri. At which time, citizens may be heard by City Council on the proposition of reducing the general speed limit from 25 mph to 20 mph inside the City of Stockton.
Reminder: YARD WASTE IS NOT ALLOWED IN TRASH CONTAINERS
This is a friendly reminder yard waste is not allowed in the Republic Services' trash containers. Please contact the City of Stockton to schedule an appointment on Monday's after 1:15 pm to dispose of your yard waste at the City yard waste dump. Otherwise, simply obtain a free burn permit from the City of Stockton and burn your yard waste at home when weather permits (i.e. do not burn on dry windy days!). HELP WANTED: FULL TIME MAINTENANCE
The City of Stockton is currently taking applications for a full-time maintenance position. Applications are available at City Hall located at the 1424 South St. through the drive-thru window. City Hall hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2021 City Dog Tags Available December 1.
OWNERS OF DOGS WITHOUT PROPER TAGS RESIDING IN THE CITY LIMITS OF STOCKTON WILL BE FINED. THE STOCKTON DOG SHELTER WILL NO LONGER RELEASE DOGS WITHOUT PROOF OF PROPER TAGS. Dog tags are available for $8.00 through January 31, 2021. Tags purchased after January 31, 2021 will be $10.00. Fees collected for tags are for the maintenance of the City Dog Shelter.
